A Pooja Samiti where God is worshipped through social work
Since 1970, Sri Sai Baba Pooja Samiti, Kala Ghoda has lived by one belief: the service to man is service to God. We fund education, medical care, food and skills for those who need them most.
Our five funds
Every rupee given to the Samiti goes into one of five funds, each serving a different need in our community.
Vidya Dan
Scholarships for poor and deserving students in Mumbai schools and colleges.
Arogya Dan
Financial help for patients with cancer, heart and kidney ailments.
Anna Dan
Around 1,500 people fed every year on Diwali at the annual pooja.
Vastra Dan
Free school uniforms and bags for students of municipal schools.
Mahila Vikas
Free six-month tailoring course for women from weaker sections.
